Accounts and acceptable use

Provide accurate account information and protect access to your account. Do not use Dewey to break the law, impersonate others, harass people, infringe rights, distribute malware, interfere with the service, scrape it, or attempt unauthorized access.

Your content

You remain responsible for content you submit. You grant Dewey a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate and improve the service.

Book metadata and notifications

Book metadata may be incomplete or inaccurate. Push notifications depend on device settings and third-party providers; delivery is not guaranteed.

Suspension, deletion, and availability

You can seek account deletion through the app. Dewey may limit or end access when needed to protect users, address violations, or operate the service.

Disclaimers and liability

Dewey is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, no warranties are made and Dewey will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
